Calculate the area of survey chains if they are enclosed shapes
Survey chains (when enclosed) have a reported area value of zero. This is seen in the properties for the geometry, and also if you try to read the area through an item type using the expression This.GetElement().EnclosedArea. Our construction staf...
Would be nice to have an option to run an 'drawing model annotation' for specific models rather than just all or one. This could be helpful for cross section annotation if we want to use different annotation groups for different ranges of the cros...
Annotate station of any alignment/feature in cross section
Loss of functionality from SS4 which had the ability to annotate "Station" or "Feature Station".
I am cutting sections for a divided roadway and wishes to annotation the station of each centerline feature in his cross sections. Currently th...
Cross Section Annotation for existing and design terrain models
In the created cross sections for the existing and multiple design terrain (surface), we need to annotate the 1) height difference between the terrain model(s); Also, 2) need to annotate the offset (length) from the point to the cutting line. This...
Take surface template into account when analyzing volumes
Add the ability to take surface templates into account when analyzing volumes between two terrain models. That way you will not have to create a delta terrain, for instance when you want to take the clearance of top soil into account. This option ...
Configuration variable to control default path for .tiw files
When working in a fieldbook in survey, we want to set the default file path to a specific location for .tiw files. As it stands, ORD remembers the last location from which a .tiw was imported, but we want to set a file path for all users.
As a Designer I want the ability to annotate point elevations and dimensions like we are able to in the drawing model cross-section so that checking the model during design before cutting sheets helps us.
Activate Reference Hover Button when Item Selected that Resides in a Reference
OpenRail/Roads designs use a large number of referenced DGNs. The current workflow to modify a referenced item requires either opening the file that the referenced item is drawn in or finding and activating the reference that the element is drawn ...
When a text style like Tahoma05_CC has no color explicitly set, MicroStation behaves differently depending on how the text is placed:
Regular text placement: It correctly uses the color from the active level.
Contour labels (e.g., placed via t...
Create a rule to set drainage node to (active terrain) when setting elevation reference
Presently when setting reference elevation for the node it lets you set it to the active terrain but does not rule it to the (active terrain). If this were done the inlet tops would automatically adjust as the design terrain changes.
