Annotate Slope of terrain between points in Cross Sections

Civil labeler only works for 3D linear features (points). It`s impossible to annotate the slope from the terrain between two points. If you try that, the whole terrain section is selected and the command fails.

A great example is a cross section of an existing quary terrain where we could want to quickly annotate the slopes between berms and on them.

The workaround is to create dummy 3D lines and a specif slope filter for them, but some times we just want a two clicks label: starting here to there, return me the slope.

Two ways to go:

  • Slope between the two points

  • Medium slope of the terrain between the points.

It's needed also in plan - not only in cross sections.

Then it would be great if arrow (according to slope) will apear between those two points.

"We just want a two clicks label: starting here to there, return me the slope." Could not say it any better, Bentley please get the simple things working first.
