There are several instances where we draw civil elements with rules and need to change the dimension value (length, offset from element, etc.). Currently the only way to do this is to click on the element and use the handles, or dig through the properties window to find the property needed. With an item type attached, we can read certain properties like those, but I think it would be a very useful enhancement to be able to change an item type value and have that change the dimension value of the civil element. This could open up using expressions to calculate certain dimension values. This would also be extremely useful for Civil Cells, as you could attach the item type to the cell and have all of the variables of the cell in one window.
