If there is an item type attached to a Point Feature Definition, it is not retained when the Point is exported as a standard 3D MicroStation cell. The metadata is only retained to the 2d element, not the 3d.
In the case of a mesh (from a component), the item type gets trough when exported as a standard 3d mesh, so why doesn't it work the same for points ?
This will allow for more efficiency when exporting models done with OpenRoads Designer. At the moment we need to attach item types after exports on those elements, for every update.
