In legacy software, we had the option to either project crossfall from one element to another relative/normal to the reference element or relative/normal to the target element. We do not seem to have this functionality in ORD currently (although there is a property in projected geometry that alludes that we do, it does not function).

We need have another set of tools to add this functionality to aid us in our day-to-day design - perhaps "Profile by (Variable) Slope/Vertical Offset To Element" that projects relative to the Target element. Currently the only practical way to do this is to set up a corridor and template to do this previously simple fundamental task. Adding this functionality will make users lives much easier and return a fundamental piece of functionality back to users toolsets.
