Barrier medians are prevelant on many highways. There are tens of thousands of these inlets in the U.S. alone. Currently, ORD Drainage requires using two separate inlets connected by a large storm sewer pipe to account for the spread on both sides of the barrier. It would be desirable that one inlet do analysis for spread on either side, then combine the areas into one flow in the inlet chamber.
