I'm currently developing a bridge model that includes a gore area, and I'm encountering some modeling challenges. The main issue is with the deck slope: the slope direction changes across the width of the bridge, but the deck template is constrained to a single alignment. This means the slope is always perpendicular to that alignment, which doesn't reflect the actual geometry. Even when I try using secondary alignments, the control points on the bridge break down—eventually, the template points intersect, which the software can't process.
