Currently when the control - profile, alignment, feature - can't be found due to a deletion or reference detachment, the corresponding point control(s) is removed from the corridor. Considering that these events may occur inadvertently and not discovered until long after and undo is possible, disabling rather than deleting the point control would be valuable in restoring the point control without having to work back through the logic of how and why it was created. Highlighting the broken connection would help even more.
