Historically, SignCAD has delivered Federal and State MUTCD standard sign template libraries with each release. Internally we host our state's standard sign template files on a network server location for downstream consumption; however, our consultant partners do not have access to these files on our internal network. We must independently deliver these static resources to our external partners. A much simpler solution for management and distribution of these template libraries at scale would be for Bentley to host all Federal and State MUTCD standard sign templates in a centralized cloud repository that would be accessible within the OpenRoads SignCAD application. There wouldn't be a need to deliver the template files with OpenRoads SignCAD installation and updates to the libraries wouldn't be contingent on packaging up a new release of the OpenRoads SignCAD application.
