I have used a 3d measure macro in Microstation for 20 years now. I love it. It would be nice to have this feature in ORD . Would be simple to add.

The way the tool would work:

Users snap between any two points. I dialog would pop up displaying the 2d distance, 3d distance, z delta, grade %, slope rise/run or run/rise, Northing, Easting and elevations. The displayed text should be capable for selection to be copied into the clipboard.

A bonus to this tool would be an annotation option. Each of the values described above would have a button next to it and if checked the values would be pasted into the "place text dialog" using the active text style and text settings. This would allow users to annotate 3d slopes, points and distances as well as check values.
