When exporting a model to IFC it is possible to export the model splitting to Named Boundary Groups. This is very powerfull because you can split your model and the volume reports in smaller parts. It would also be good if you can split the dgn to smaller parts in the same way. The Fence command does not work here as it splits inside, or as crossing. Fixing the Fence command would also be a good change

This workflow exists with the "Quantities Report by Named Boundary" tool. Select the Display Clipped Graphics box and the software will clip all meshes to the named boundary shape. The meshes can be saved to separate files.
