Since GEOPAK is no longer supported. I have heard from Bentley time and time again that we can get to our data out of the GPK and import it into ORD. BUT this is only true for chains, profiles and points. What about Parcels? survey chains? lines? curves? spirals? There is still a need to get data out of old gpk files. There should be an import tool to get all of our data out of a gpk file!!!

It would be great if the points would come in as Survey Points, currently if they come in they are geometry points or it blows up the software.
This is a huge issue for DOT's. We are an InRoads shop, but our survey department needs to be able to show and defend decisions made related to property acquisitions and deed research. Traditionally COGO has provided that capability. Civil AccuDraw rules in the Properties dialog box is not a viable alternative.
Additionally, the Tabling tools of InRoads are still missing in Open Roads, but even these were insufficient for our needs.
As a result, we had an Add-On developed for InRoads (long ago), which unfortunately now needs a complete rewrite for Open Roads. However, without the accompanying COGO like audit trail of InRoads, would still not meet our needs.
